September 23 Talking about YouTube - Telco Exec ExposedYouTube - Telco Exec Exposed These goes to show that we are paying too much to the local telco companies. What is the moral of this video? Use Internet Telephony. Thats what those geeks said and i can't agree more. September 20 Talking about YouTube - New Microsoft ad I'm PC - Not Alone Microsoft's New Ad after the Bill and Jerry Ads didn't quite get the message out to the public. YouTube - New Microsoft ad I'm PC - Not Alone August 30 Talking about YouTube - TWITTER WHORE part 2But Twitter has a some server problems, which results in the website
being offline or being under maintenance and if you are like the person
in video below, see how distress she is now when Twitter's services
was not available. We can describe her as a Twitterholic, a new term created when there were Twitter addicts. Well, this won't happen to everyone, provided you don't tweet excessively. :) Talking about YouTube - TWITTER WHOREHave you ever tried Twitter? Basically, its a Micro-blogging website, probably the most popular Micro-blogging website. A Micro-blogging website is like a blog, just that its contains a one line post, like a status update in Facebook. By the way, you could update your status from Twitter through its own Twitter application in Facebook. You could follow someones update. This feature will be useful if you follow a companies' updates as you could get the updates on the go. You could also update Twitter on the go, which is something you can't do in Blogger neither here in Spaces Live. This on the go feature was created so you could post unusual things to Twitter as unusual things happen outside 90% of the time. Twitter could be used as a helpline for people too. As you could Twitter anywhere and may encounter problems outside, you could just Tweet to Twitter and you will receive an answer almost immediately in your handphone, thats right, your handphone. Well, i must say that Twitter can be addictive. Just watch the video below and you can see why.
August 29 Popeyes is KFC main rivalBeen to Popeyes before? Now, you might be wondering. "What is that? You mean the cartoon sailor?" Well, you are kinda right in this one, but what I'm refering here is not a sailor, neither is it a person. I'm talking about a fast food chain that can fight head on with KFC. Hail from New Orleans, Louisiana, its chicken is one of the best that you could find. Tried it two times and it never dissapoints me. The fries is not any normal fries. Its cajun fries, which means your fries has cajun seasonings and very cruchy. The chicken, especially the skin, is real crispy. Do ask the crew member to make the chicken spicy, thats if you can take spicy food or like spicy food, otherwise the normal chicken is actually quite good. Trust me, i tried both spicy and normal and both are quite good, just that the spicy element is bonus. The cake or whatever that is, is very tasty. Best part of all is, Popeyes is very generous. Without upsizing your meal, your fries are a lot and your chicken portion is very big, which means you are getting a lot of the good stuff. Isn't that great? Plus, the upsizing is really upsizing. You get double the amount of fries you get without an upsize and the drinks is equivilant to KFC or even McDonalds large size drinks. So what do you say? Go try it today. The sudden explosion that you would not have expected, the beautiful colours of each fireworks shot into the air and the lightings that were used. Another thing was the smoke that was produce once the fireworks was gone and new fireworks that were shot into the air. The smoke created a backdrop for the other fireworks, so there was a contrast between the night sky and the fireworks display. Also, there were fireworks being shot from the nearby boats which were a metre or two away from the floating platform. I think this idea of shooting fireworks from a boat is rather new. Overall, the originality was excellent . Though there were more events at the Fireworks Celebration, many people came because of the fireworks and so when it was over, many people started moving out of the floating platform. Another good reason was it was raining, so thats why people may have went of earlier. I stayed until a band perform the songs that they were suppose to sing. In my opinion, i think it is nice hearing people play songs under the night sky. I think i am starting to enjoy the night life. Hmm, when I am older, perhaps I will get the opportunity to enjoy the night life. Who knows? Anyway, this is the website to see some of the fireworks photos. ttyl for now :) August 23 ERP at Pedra BrancaRemember the ERP Gantry on Pedra Branca Picture, shown during the National Day Rally Speech. Well, I have seen this picture a long time ago, way before the Prime Minister show it on his National Day Rally Speech. You could go to my post on my tumblelog at this website. August 21 Talking about YouTube - Jade Seah says FARK!YouTube - Jade Seah says FARK! From what i heard in this video, she definitely mispronounce the China players name. So Mark Richmond told her the right pronunciation of the China's player name and she must have make fun of her mistake by saying the vulgar word cos' its sounded like it. You know, fark and f**k sounds almost the same. Also, i guess she thought the cam was off cos' a video of the basketball game was being broadcast, so she said it, but it was not, so that is how you get to hear this colourful word. Well, no one wanted it to happen and MediaCorp have apologise on her behalf. So just forget that it never happen. Anyways, the video of the incident is here, so if you are really really curious, go on and play the above video. Word of advice though, dun put her on at a spot if you see her, like I said, it was unintentional. No one wanted it to happen.... Bungalow Stay Well, if you been to one of my social networking profiles, you might actually see that on the 15 of August to the 18 of August, there were not much activities done, except for people who accepted my friend requests and super pokes by friends (i love the premium poke that i receive from my friends). Other then that, its really quiet. You might be wondering "Its very unusual for a guy who is online almost everyday on these social networking sites not to be online for 3 days. Maybe he was sick?" Nah, nah. Its not like that. Actually, I went to a bungalow that my uncle (from my mother's side) booked for our family and relatives and also, meetings for the teachers in our church. I will not go into detail about what we exactly we did, though is very easy to remember what we did in that 3 days, but as you can see from my previous post entries, i tend to be long winded (there is a medical term for people who are long winded by the way), so i am just going to reflect on the 3 days. To tell you the truth, though we were a little bored (all thanks to the 24 hours broadcast of the Olympics, sian), I can tell you that we enjoyed our time together. At least for me, thats what i felt. The food was great, all thanks to my auntie, who use to be a hotel chef. I feeling lucky right now. By the way, on my last day there at the bungalow, she prepared somemore food for us to bring home to eat at anytime of the day, in fact, our family ate the food for yesterday's dinner time and today's dinner time. The chicken wing's skin is very crispy and the otah is very spicy. I heard that the spicy otah is from Bedok, not sure which stall from Bedok, but i heard that it is in a shop house. Maybe you could ask anyone staying at Bedok to tell you where is it. They may know. But I tell you. Its definitely a must try. It real spicy. So spicy food lovers, this one is for you. Another thing to take note is if you buy a certain number of otah, they well deliver it to your house personally. Thats what i heard. So yeah, do try it. Back to my stay in the bungalow. As you have heard, the Olympics were being broadcast 24 hours a day. So we watch the show together. By the way, my cousin and I tend to support non-China team because China has too many Golds, so we gave our support to other teams. And definitely, we watch the Finals of the Woman's Team Table Tennis. Our country mah, must support, though the trios are from China. We won silver, a great acomplishment for Singapore, though a Gold would be all the more sweeter, but we are in a David and Goliath situation, so what more can you expect. Ahaha. We also went to the park; by the way, the bungalow is at Pasir Ris, so we went to Pasir Ris park to enjoy. Of course we went to the playground section and played some games. As you have heard, the Pasir Ris sea is containminated. Dang, i wanted to play with the sand. Its been two years since I been to the beach to play. Well, just gotta wait till the day comes. Thats all, short but enjoyable. Hope there is another one in future. :) August 19 Talking about YouTube - Hitler And ERP Woes (Singapore)YouTube - Hitler And ERP Woes (Singapore)ahaha. There are many versions of this video, featuring Hitler being fed up about the frequent breakdown of Twitter, a micro-blogging site, which supposedly Hitler uses it to direct his men during a war by tweeting them through his mobile phone, Xbox Parody, which I dun think i will bother to watch it cos' I dun like Xbox and this version, talking about the lousy things about the ERP. Its real hillarious. Do watch it and share it with your friends (via Youtube of course). :) Feng Shui Master and the direction of the Flyer This article was featured on Yahoo a while back already. I did blog it on my Yahoo blog since is only able to be shared on Yahoo. You could take a look at this article and my thoughts on it at this website. :) August 09 Talking about YouTube - The Singapore Song By Rony Tan
YouTube - The Singapore Song By Rony Tan This video should have been this year's NDP Video. BTW, Rony Tan is the senior pastor from Lighthouse Evangelism. I've been to Lighthouse once. My father attends this church, though he also attends other churches. Anyways, I wish Singapore "Happy Birthday!!". :) August 03 Haemodialysis Well, its been a while since i updated this blog. As you can see, i must have been busy and that is why i did not update the blog. Ever since school started, I have a lot of topics to catch up, which is obvious to know as I have miss school for such a long time and it is only right to quickly catch up on the topics missed. Another reason why i did not update the blog for a while is that I have started on temporary dialysis, which means I have to go somewhere to do my dialysis, as it is not water dialysis (as you could do it yourself at home cos' the nurses taught you how prepare it before you leave for home). Anyways, i have to go and do Haemodialysis 3 times a week and since I'm not an adult yet, I do not have the liberty to choose where i want to do my Haemodiaylsis. My haemodialysis session is usually done in NUH. NUH is very far away from my home, I stay at the Northern part of Singapore, while NUH is situated at the South-Western part of Singapore. It like travelling from one end to another, the difference is that its from the North to the South not East to West. Though it is not as long as travelling from East to West, the travelling to and fro is enough to take up 1 and a half hour of your time. Anyways, I dun have a choice. Now, during Haemodialysis, people who are dialysing usually go to sleep, cos' Haemodialysis clears up very single nutrient in your blood, so you dun have much energy in your body left. But for me, I dun really feel tired. I sometimes sleep there cos I'm bored, but usually I will do something there, maybe reading a newspaper or a book. But i really hope to get back to Peritoneal Dialysis, in other words, water dialysis. ttyl and burhbye. :) July 21 Water Restriction Is Bad! Okay okay, i know that i haven't been updating this blog for a while. I'm sorry about that because i was busy updating some of my social networking accounts. Well, as you can see from the title of this post, today I'm going to share with you first hand experience on how it feels like being restricted to the amount of water that you are allowed to drink a day. It started a few days ago when the doctor spoke to me about this issue of keeping to the water taking quota. The quota was around 600mls for two days as there were no blood dialysis sessions on weekends (btw, i am on blood dialysis, so i must be extra careful on the water intake thing). On the first day, which is Saturday, i manage to stick to the quota. But on the second day, which is Sunday, around afternoon, i started to get a little bit uncomfortable if i did not drink enough water, but i still manage to pull through until the evening. btw, what i did to kill the thirst for the past 1 and a half days was to take sweets, but in the end i became addicted to sweets and i wouldn't want to be treated for diabetes. So i stopped eating sweets by putting it inside the fridge and soon the thirst "sensation" became bigger and bigger until when i was downstairs at Kopitiam (a food court), i bought a can of Ice Lemon tea, which is around 300mls, and gulp it down my throat. Yea i know its 300mls only, but think about it, i should have drank something early in the morning (btw, i haven't sleep at midnight, i only slept around 1:00am in the morning) and definitely drank something in the afternoon. All in all, i drank around 940mls, which is coming a litre and i suppose to drink how much? Exactly, 300mls. Thats definitely a exceed in the intake. But i did pee out 440 plus, so the amount of water in my body is around 500mls Anyways, the consequences of drinking water is edimer, which is like your body bloated up like a bloat fish. But it depends on the individual. Not every single one of us will be bloated or "puff" up. Well, only time will tell. ttyl and wish me good for what is going to happen later in the morning. July 14 Oww shucks!!I think i need a breather now. Just this morning, the doctors were checking my cell counts, which is to see whether the body was still producing white blood celld to destroy the germs and bacteria in my dialysis area. It must be low so that it will indicate that there is no more germs and bacteria inside the dialysis area. Well, i recently had a infection, around a week ago and now they want to make sure that i am fit to go home. The cell count went down for awhile then suddenly went up. You see, this is not suppose to happen. Usually it should go down until not even one white blood cell can be found. But because my tube supposedly was contaminated, so it when up. Now this is where the oww shucks part comes in. They say they are going to ask me go for an operation to remove the tube. Then go on 2 weeks blood dialysis. then go and do op to reinsert tube. Haiz, it will be one long and gruesome month. two ops and dialysis sessions that makes you half dead. Well lifes like that. ttyl anyways :( July 13 I Hate Fleet Enema well, you might be wondering "What the heck is Fleet Enema?". Well, firstly and obviously, its something that i hate because its messy, it causes too much discomfort and it is not very healthy. Secondly, its a medicine cures constipation by stimulating the muscle nerves, so that the muscle can move and causes you to pass out the motion inside the body. So it helps cure constipation, then isn't it great? Well yeah, in the sense that you get rid of the constipation in your body. But you also have to endure the messiness of it, hours of enduring the pain, dehydration if the motion is watery and also some unhealthy substances going into your body, though it does not kill you or anything, thats if you do not have kidney failure. I will explain that much later. In any case, i have just used fleet enema a while ago and it sucks. Firstly, i was kinda weak, with bp rate at 88+/- over 50+/- before i used it. That is almost dangerously low already. Plus, i use fleet enema, which causes you at times to pass out watery motion and i did pass out watery motion and therefore i became dehydrated, which means i lose water, which also means i have lesser salt because the water is being drained out, which also means, therefore, that my bp will go even lower and then i might faint. Another thing is that its too messy. Do you know that i wet my bedsheet while the medicine was going into me? Haiz..... Thirdly is something that i'm still having right now and that is the pain. Its really very uncomfortable and i am worried that i may pass out motion anytime and a lot of it on the underwear that it also get it on the trousers itself and then i will be embarrassing myself in front of some many people. Its not that i intentionally wanted to that, but i just can't help it because the whole point of it is to stimulate the muscle to pass out some shit and lastly is that it has too much phosphate. So you will asking now "What the heck is phospahte?" I got to admit that until this point in time, i really do not know what is it just that is a bad substance inside all protein rich food which those with a kidney are able to clean it away because if it is not cleared, it will make you very tired after time. Wait, i think i do remember what is it now after typing out. It makes you tired and fatigue and if there is more accumulation of phosphate inside the body, it could even kill a person. Oh shoots, i feel the urge to go toilet, ttyl and i'm off to the toilet. July 12 New Song Added Okay, more or less i can tell you is that the blog has been completed. Yipeee. Now, today, i have already embedded a song inside this blog. Some of you might have heard it, but some of you might not have. So i'm gonna tell you guys anyway, for the benefit of those who don't know what this song is, its "Too Little Too Late" by JoJo. Well, Jojo is the lady who acted in a movie quite a while back called RV or Runaway Vacation. Remember the one starring Robin Williams. Yeah, that one (thats if you watch it already). Jojo did act another movie, but i'm not sure whats the name of the movie was and the movie wasn't very popular. Anyways, if you really don't really know who she is, there is this last hint that i have for you. She does look a bit like Lindsay Lohan. Or maybe quite alike? But if you also don't know who the heck is Lindsay Lohan, then i think you should better start watching some movies, though i'm not asking you to watch till you forget to the necessary things. The best place to check who is Jojo and other actors and actresses, do go to "www.imdb.com" .Well thats all for now, so its bye bye for now from me. Welcome Hey everyone, this is my "the other blog", but not for long. From now onwards, my blogging stuffs will be done here. Anyways, welcome to my blog. Hmm, i still do not have any idea to blog and sometimes thats the main reason why i do not bother go blogging. It can be a boring thing to do when its force. Like what people always say:"You cannot force a person to like" and "Love is not something you can force your way through" and the reason is that if its force, then the other person, supposedly you were the person who force the other party, that girl or guy that you like well never be happy, unless he or she starts to like you, then i think you will be the most luckiest person on earth because this kind of thing rarely happens. Only the lucky ones are extremely lucky. Aiyo, why did i suddenly talk about love on the first day of the official opening of my blog aka the "Halo Blog"? Okay okay, back to what i was just saying, maybe a few minutes ago? hahas. yea, so i will try to update, in fact, i helped to update the blog in my shared blog, so i will not have a problem right updating this blog, right? Wrong. I may be able to update for certain days, usually depends on whether i am willing to do it or not. But i can try, like what i did with my shared blog. Well, i better ttyl before i type until two pages (I can be long winded at times you know), so thats all folks and ttyl. |
